F\u00e5 \u00e5r etter det noe plutselige, og kortvarige, comebacket med &laquo;F\u00fcnfzehn Neue DAF Lieder&raquo; (2003), er DAF i \u00e5r konsertaktuelle for f\u00f8rste gang siden tidlig 80-tall.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>DAF stammer fra D\u00fcsseldorf og \u00e5ret 1978, og er blant de klart mest markante navn Neue Deutsche Welle frembragte. Aktet som pion\u00e9rer i tilblivelsen av minimalistisk elektropop og senere EBM, s\u00e5 vel musikalsk som i utforming av image og symbolikk. Duoen DAF og deres tre album for Virgin i \u00e5rene 1981 til 1982 er ofte hva som forbindes sterkest med navnet. <\/p>\n<p>Men f\u00f8r G\u00f6rl og Delgado-Lop\u00e9z stod alene som DAF og h\u00f8stet pene salgstall, var <em>kvartetten<\/em> DAF en vel s\u00e5 hissende kombinasjon. &laquo;Ein Produkt der Deutsch-Amerikanischen Freundschaft&raquo; (1979) og &laquo;Die Kleinen Und Die B\u00f6sen&raquo; (1980 (for \u00f8vrig Mutes f\u00f8rste albumutgivelse)) er begge \u00e5 regne som alternative elektroklassikere.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c5rets retur til scene g\u00e5r under navnet &laquo;Der 30-j\u00e4hrige Krieg &#8211; als w\u00e4r&#8217;s das letzte Mal&raquo;, i hovedsak konsentrert om kontinentet men ogs\u00e5 med en tur til London den 28. mars. Til mange skandinaviske tilhengeres skuffelse ble kveldens &#8211; den 21. februar &#8211; konsert p\u00e5 Brew House i G\u00f8teborg avlyst, uten at noen \u00e5rsak for kanselleringen ble oppgitt.
